One thing to be careful of with your mom is the medications that are used to slow down the rate of onset of Alzheimers. My mother couldnt tolerate them. They made her nauseous. She would still be with us today if we had stopped her taking them after the problem of nausea was identified. We tried two different drugs (there are three) both had the same result. Nausea made her life miserable and may have contributed to her death by interfering with her absorbing other meds such as the ones for blood pressure control. Her pressure spiked one day last week causing a massive stroke, resulting in death. Joel, Ottawa, Canada |
